02 — Types of data collected
We collect data voluntarily provided through contact forms, quote requests, newsletter sign-up, or while browsing the site. Specifically:
Personal and contact data: first name, last name, company, email, phone, address.
Technical browsing data: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, timestamp, referrer.
Request-related data: message content, product preferences, technical specifications provided for the quote.
03 — Purposes of processing
Data is processed for the following purposes:
a) To respond to contact requests, quotes or commercial information enquiries.
b) Contractual fulfilment and management of machinery supply and service.
c) Legal obligations (invoicing, accounting, tax compliance).
d) Subject to explicit consent, sending commercial communications about PG SRL products and services, including new models, updates and trade-show invitations.
e) Aggregate statistical analysis of website usage (in anonymous form only).
04 — Legal basis
Processing is based on: data subject’s consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR) for promotional purposes; performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (art. 6.1.b) for managing commercial requests; legal obligation (art. 6.1.c) for tax compliance; the Controller’s legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f) for aggregate analytics and site security.
05 — Retention period
Data collected for contractual purposes is retained for 10 years after the relationship ends, as required by Italian tax law. Data collected for promotional purposes is retained until consent is withdrawn or, in any case, for a maximum of 24 months from the last contact. Technical browsing data is retained for 12 months.
06 — Disclosure to third parties
Data may be disclosed to: IT and hosting service providers, tax and legal advisors, logistics couriers, authorised commercial partners — all appointed as Data Processors under art. 28 GDPR. Data is not transferred outside the European Union.
07 — Rights of the data subject
Pursuant to articles 15-22 GDPR, you have the right to: access your data, request rectification or erasure, restrict processing, object to processing, request portability, withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights write to info@pgsrl.eu.
08 — Right to complain
If you believe the processing of your data violates the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali, Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome — garanteprivacy.it).
