Power,
built to order.
The benchmark of the range. Electrowelded monoblock frame, world-class hydraulics, latest-generation CNC. Built entirely in Italy.
Power, precision, innovation.
The DCA press brake is built around an electrowelded monoblock frame, sized to absorb bending stresses with no residual deflection. Table compensation and controlled axes deliver a bend close to zero, repeatable stroke after stroke.
Six things that set it apart.
Not a one-size-fits-all machine. Every detail addresses a specific problem in the customer's process — because every DCA is designed around that process.
Monoblock frame
Electro-welded steel frame, thermally stress-relieved. FEM-optimised geometry to reduce deflection and vibration during the bending cycle.
Precision hydraulics
Hydraulic unit with high-dynamic proportional valves. Active table compensation and Y1/Y2 axis synchronisation with continuous hydraulic feedback.
Latest-generation CNC
CNC with 21" touch screen, 3D graphics, materials and tooling library, collision simulation, remote monitoring and predictive diagnostics.
Active real-time crowning
Dynamic compensation of table and side deformation, managed by the CNC through pressure sensors. Constant angle end-to-end, even on long sheets and mixed materials.
Built to measure
90% of the DCAs leaving Mariano Comense are not from a catalogue. Tonnage, length, stroke, daylight, back gauge and accessories are sized to your part, not the other way round.
Made in Italy
Design, assembly and testing at our Mariano Comense plant. Heavy steelwork and select finishes from trusted Italian partners. Premium European hydraulic and electronic components, multi-decade spare-parts availability (for older machines, parts are produced on request or replaced with equivalent components), direct support, no intermediaries.

Everything is customisable.
There is no standard press brake. Force, length, axes, automation, safety devices: every parameter is sized on your real process.
- Force from 40 to 3,000 tonnes
- Useful length up to 12.000 mm
- 4 to 12+ controlled axes
- Motorised table and quick-change toolholders
- Optical safety devices compliant with EN ISO 16092-3 / CE 2006/42
- Tandem configurations up to 24 m
Inverter on main motor and crowning.
Start & stop integrato.
On our DCAs it's standard, not an option. The main motor runs only when needed, the crowning follows the cycle, and during idle times the machine stops by itself — then restarts in a heartbeat.
On the market, the same configuration is often labelled as hybrid. For us, it remains a hardware choice: variable-speed pumps and stop logic. On your energy bill, the result speaks for itself anyway.
- Main motor inverterVariable-speed pumps: torque on demand, not peak torque.
- Inverter motor crowningActive compensation without continuous overdrive.
- Start & stop standardAutomatic shutdown during idle times. Restart in < 2 s.
You don't pick a model.
We design your machine.
90% of the DCAs leaving Mariano Comense are not from a catalogue. We define the operating envelope together, then size the machine to your part. Below is the range we work within.
- Tonnage and length — sized to the critical part, not picked from a catalogue
- Daylight and stroke — adapted to side heights, deep box sections, special tooling
- Throat depth — for tapered parts, narrow U shapes, through-bending operations
- Back gauge — number of axes, X/R/Z stroke, extra fingers, dedicated profiles
- Tool clamping — manual, hydraulic, pneumatic or automatic tool change
- Sheet followers and supports — CNC-driven sheet followers, retractable supports, bend-and-flatten table
- CN e software — Cybelec, Delem, ESA con simulazione 3D, ERP integration, readings barcode
- Safety devices — Lazer Safe, MCS, photocells, destination-compliant guards
- Automation — integrated robots, ATC tool magazines, robotic cells
- 01Analysis of the critical part
Drawing, material, thickness, blank development, tolerance required. We calculate the force needed with a realistic safety margin.
- 02FEM feasibility study
Structural simulation of frame, beam and table on your maximum load. Deflection check and crowning sizing.
- 03Component configuration
Hydraulics, CNC, back gauge, safety devices and accessories selected for your production mix. No over-engineering, no under-sizing.
- 04Construction and testing
Assembly and testing at the facility. No-load and under-load testing, operator training before shipment.

All about the DCA press brake.
Answers to the most common questions. For specific requirements write to info@pgsrl.eu.
Which tonnages and lengths does the DCA range cover?
The DCA hydraulic press brake covers 40 a 3,000 tonnes di force nominale e useful lengths da 1,250 a 16,200 mm. Per pieghe extra-lunghe oltre i 16 m è disponibile la linea Tandem DCA dedicata.
Is the DCA a Made-in-Italy press brake?
Yes, 100%. Design, construction, assembly and testing all take place at the PG SRL facility in Mariano Comense (CO). Hydraulic and CNC components are international standard (ESA, Bosch Rexroth, Hoerbiger).
Costruite la DCA to order?
Yes. All DCA press brakes are sized to the customer's production cycle: force, useful length, stroke, opening daylight, throat depth, controlled axes and automation. Typical delivery time: 4–8 months from contract signing.
Quale CNC equied on the DCA?
The standard is the CNC ESA S875W con 2D/3D graphics, bend simulation, variable angle management, compensation crowning e connettività Industria 4.0. Su required forniamo Cybelec o altri controlli.
Is DCA compliant with the Machinery Directive?
Yes. All DCA press brakes comply with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, are equipped with a Lazer Safe AOPD safety system (PCSS-A / LZS-003-HS / IRIS Plus depending on model) compliant with EN 12622 and ISO 13849-1 PL e + CAT.4 + SIL3, CE marking and declaration of conformity.
Quali materials piega la DCA?
Carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper, brass, galvanised and pre-galvanised sheets. Thicknesses from 0.5 mm to 30+ mm depending on configuration.
Warranty and after-sales service?
Warranty 24 months on the complete machine. PG SRL direct technical support (no intermediaries): remote support, original parts from stock, on-site service across Europe.
Can I visit the facility to see the DCA?
Yes, we welcome technical visits by appointment in Mariano Comense (CO). On request we organise bending tests on the customer's materials.

Press brakes DCA: la serie hydraulic.
The DCA series is PG SRL's traditional hydraulic line: press brakes designed and built in Mariano Comense (Como) for heavy fabrication, discontinuous production and thick plate. Available from 40 to 3,000 tonnes, with useful lengths from 1.25 to 16.2 metres on a single monoblock.
Mechanical architecture
Electrowelded steel frame, normalised and machined after stress relief: side frames, fixed beam and ram are sized to limit deflection under load. Two main cylinders, electronically synchronised, guarantee ram parallelism across the full stroke.
Crowning e compensation
Continuous hydraulic crowning on the lower beam, regulated by the CNC based on force, length and thickness. Compensates for the machine's natural deflection and keeps the angle constant along the full length of the part.
Hydraulic
Hydraulic unit with high-efficiency pumps, servo-proportional valves and dedicated filtration system. Approach, working and return speeds parameterised from CNC.
Applicazioni tipiche
Heavy fabrication, structural steelwork, tanks, frames, single bends or small batches at medium-to-high thicknesses. When volume grows or energy savings are required, the H.DCA (hybrid) and E.DCA (electric) series are natural alternatives on the same frame.
