Safety upgrade
Discontinued light curtains, non-compliant safety mats, unmonitored two-hand controls: we bring your press brake up to standard with Lazer Safe laser guards and issue a new declaration of conformity.
Type 4 laser guards on the upper beam.
Operators can hold the sheet close to the bend safely, with no forced two-hand cycles.
Sentinel
The base retrofit configuration, CE and TÜV certified to EN 12622, with monitoring of the machine controls.
Sentinel Plus
The top of the range with BendShield: detects an obstacle 2 mm away from any angle, three laser zones, automatic punch alignment.
Defender
Dual laser, with the option of pairing laser and light curtain.
From the inspection to the new CE marking.
It often starts with a safety inspection: decommission or upgrade. A well-built press brake deserves the upgrade.
When it’s needed
- Original safety devices discontinued: non-Type 4 light curtains, electromechanical muting.
- Safety mats or two-hand controls that are no longer compliant or not monitored.
- An internal or external inspection that flags issues on the machine.
How we work

- 5
TÜV certificates for the system in the technical file.
With the CNCRenewing the CNC as well? It costs less together: see the CNC retrofit. Shears use a different safety chain: ask us.
